UK's children's fashion brand Vertbaudet is running an international competition to find the very best budding eco-designers around. The competition, entitled 'Vertbaudet Eco-designer' is calling on fledgling artists aged 6-12 to design their own textile creation along the eco theme of 'Save the planet'.The competition is open to entrants from the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland. The judging panel, made up of fashion and decor experts, will choose the best designs from each participating country based on how well they fit with the theme of nature and creativity.
The chosen outfits and bedding sets will then be produced and sold in the Spring-Summer 2010 Collection, with the winner also receiving a Vertbaudet voucher for £350 and a Nintendo Wii games console. The closing date for entries is 28th March 2009.
